Julia is a multidisciplinary creative facilitator who has worked for over 20 years with theatres, theatre companies, drama schools and arts organizations in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Initially training as a performer at Tring Park and Guildford School of Acting, and with an MA in voice pedagogy from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Julia has worked and collaborated with such companies as the New Vic Theatre, Cambridge Theatre, Bath Theatre Academy & Bath’s Egg Theatre, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Marlborough College, and as Voice Coach with National Dance Company Wales for their international touring programme. She was part of the core team of workshop / training facilitators with Welsh National Opera as well as Drama Director for their award-winning youth opera programme.
Julia recently created a piece of children’s theatre in partnership with the New Vic Theatre which toured to venues in the north of England and as part of the Festival of Brilliant’s programme in 2025.
She has been a tutor on the BADA Midsummer Conservatory Programme for 5 years before taking on the role of Course Director.
