The BADA Studio is a place for all members of the BADA family to grow and connect long after their time on our programmes. With masterclasses, workshops and social events, the Studio brings together alumni from all programmes and at all stages of their careers in a community of like-minded theatre-makers.

BADA Studio
The BADA Studio is a result of our alumni community gathering in honour of our 40th Anniversary and voicing a need for continued access to the world-class training and faculty they had at BADA. All alumni become lifetime members of the Studio upon completion of any BADA programme and get access to ongoing learning opportunities with leading practitioners and subject matter experts.
The Studio doesn’t have a physical location; it’s wherever members of the BADA community come together creatively or pedagogically to explore and refine their craft.
Workshops, masterclasses, ongoing classes, and social events take place in various locations in the USA as well as in London and are open to all BADA alumni.
Leading the sessions will be members of BADA’s brilliant Faculty, friends from some of the top theatre training institutions in the US, UK and Europe, and members of the alumni community who are active in the theatre and performance industries.
Recent sessions have featured director Anne Bogart, actor/director Jeff Perry, writer Mark Rosenblatt, faculty member Andrew Wade, former faculty member Paul Wagar, and alumni Da’Vine Joy Randolph (MIO ’09), Rob Adler (MIO ’94), Sheria Irving (MIO ’11), Miriam A. Hyman (MIO ’10), Adam Kantor (’06), and director Barry Edelstein (MIO ’84).
