Kate is an actress working in theatre, film, television, and voiceover. She holds a BFA (Hons.) from the former Ryerson Theatre School (now The Performance School at Toronto Metropolitan University), and an MA (Dist.) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, both in classical acting.
She has performed in the West End (The Mousetrap), at Shakespeare’s Globe (Boudica), the National Theatre Studio, VAULT Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe. She plays Kitty in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things (Golden Lion, Golden Globe and Oscar winner, 2024); Frannie in Inside Man (BBC/Netflix); Ludmilla in The Great (Hulu); and will be appearing in Believe Me (ITV) and Alice & Steve (Disney+) in the coming year. She has narrated over 175 audiobooks, has been awarded an Earphones Award by Audiofile Magazine, features in video games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Terminator: Resistance, and has voiced projects for The Guardian, Maison Margiela and Gucci.
Kate joined the faculty at BADA in 2024 and has previously been a guest critic and tutor at Central, London Metropolitan University, University of Nottingham, University College London and the Architecture Association.
