After training at Bretton Hall Laura founded Perpetual Motion Theatre Company whose main focus was theatrical collaboration with The Russian Federation including tours of Russia with performances at The Moscow Arts Theatre; a joint production with Terramobile Theatre performed in London and St. Petersburg and two Festivals of Russian Theatre in London; the Company also won the premier prize at the Volgograd International Theatre Festival. She completed her Masters in Directing at Goldsmith’s College (University of London), then qualified as teacher working for several years as an Acting and Movement tutor at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.

She took on the Programme Lead of the BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Media at Kingston College validated by the University of West London and in partnership with the London School of Music. She has directed a multitude of second and third year degree productions, and as many West End showcases, and has extensive experience of teaching and directing Shakespeare, Restoration and Comedy of Manners performance. Past students have gone on to study at Masters/Post graduate level at leading drama schools, to perform at The National, West End, on the Fringe, including Edinburgh, and at various festivals both home and abroad, and have also worked for BBC Radio and TV, Channel 4, ITV and in Hollywood.

Laura’s teaching continues to be focused on maximizing student potential, student confidence and industry success.
